How to Become a Member

Membership in the Pituitary Society is open to scientists, physicians and nurses who have an interest in disorders of the pituitary gland. Our Regular Members are practicing clinicians, basic science researchers, clinical researchers, nurses, and industry professionals. Our Associate-in-Training Members include medical students, PhD candidates, clinical trainees (i.e. not holding a consultant or equivalent appointment), research fellows or trainees, and post-doctoral fellows within seven years of obtaining their PhD (or terminal) degree.

Our membership term is July 1 through June 30.

Membership benefits include:

  • Discounted registration fees for International Pituitary Congress
  • Subscription to the Pituitary journal (both in print and online)
  • Access to the Members’ Area on the Pituitary Society website
  • Optional listing in our private Members’ directory
  • Optional listing in our public Find a Pituitary Specialist search directory for patients

If you wish to join the Pituitary Society please complete our online membership application at the link below. As part of the application process we also require a brief curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages) and a letter of support from an active member be sent to [email protected]. Applications are reviewed and membership determinations made by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

Dues are $100 USD for Regular Members and $75 USD for Associate-in-Training Members. Checks must be drawn on a US bank and made payable to The Pituitary Society. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit card payments are also accepted.
